Mixx is Open for Business!

It’s about to get a little more crowded in here, and we thought it only fair that you be the first to know. After all, you’re the reason Mixx is ready to welcome the public today—you heard us—today! We’re really excited about it, and can’t thank you enough for all of your comments and suggestions.

Your feedback has led to changes in the Mixx Lounge; the way you edit YourMixx; and how karma points are awarded; as well as helping us find and squash a bunch of little bugs. Sounds gross, but you know what we mean.

Now, just because we’re going public doesn’t mean that we love you any less—we still want to see you in the Mixx as often as you can visit. And if you want to stay over, we might have a few sleeping bags around here somewhere.

    i wicked love mixx. what i don’t love, however, is that you have no left hand margins on any of the pages on your site. what’s with that?

    Congrats on the public launch, Mixx team. Always great to see exciting start-ups coming out of the DC area.

    I was happy to get in pre-launch and play around in the Mixx for a bit, now I find myself using Mixx quite a bit; not yet compulsive.

    Finally - a way for the less geeky of us to track the news,blogs etc on the net for the items that most interest us.

    Thank you for making it so user-friendly.. .and, no, fellow commenters, I have no financial interest in mixx

    - a former WSJ reporter who is slowly discovering small ways to harness “the power of us” online so I can enjoy smartpartnering witbh others offline too…
