Monday Updates — ShareThis and SuperMixxers!

You may have noticed we dressed up this morning as we added a few things:

  • New way to report related assets that aren’t really related
  • A new SuperMixxer badge on SuperMixxer’s profiles
  • A ShareThis link on story pages that lets you submit the mixx page to Facebook, del.icio.us, etc.

And with that, we’ll wish you a Happy Monday and head back to work!

    As usual very timely stuff. There is a bunch of articles on the web regarding self-policing and that type of thing. Your SuperMixxer badges make it very obvious.

    The ShareThis link is also going to be very helpful.

    Great stuff!

    Just a note - not sure about the naming of Share This - as it conflicts with the built in sharing of submissions to mixx friends?

    Thought I’d mention it! Thanks for the continued hard work.

    Perhaps not, Matt. It looks like they removed the ability to share with your Mixx friends! I see “Email This” but other no way to share with Mixx friends any longer.

    Unless it’s a bug, it’s gone.

    Never mind - they moved the Share with Friends feature UNDER Email this (which is confusing, of course).

    I agree with the confusing. I looked for a good 15 min and then said, what the hell let me see what Email This does.

    Yep, I agree confusing - but I think necessary, as the external service just added is actually CALLED ‘Share This’, so had to be changed really..

    Love the functionality, though.
