April Fools! But really, no fooling…

Posted by Kerry on April 1st, 2008

…we really are launching one new feature this morning.

Head to a user’s profile and you’ll see something fun–we now offer an RSS feed that lets you subscribe to a user’s submissions and comments.

See, all you had to do was ask, and we delivered.

Now go play a real April Fool’s Day joke on someone!

This is awesome, don’t get me wrong, but is it possible to choose to sub to either submissions, comments or both? I don’t really care to subscribe to comments, but I was desperately looking for the submissions rss.

    Any future chance of this?

Thanks sooooooooooooo much. Greatest thing ever.

Yes, future chance of this. Its how we have the full version scoped out. We wanted to get the basic one out as we made some other maintenance and tweaks this morning to the site.

They just copied your sites design:

Of course, service is not the same.

Nice catch, Arturs. I posted this at mixx just now. I wonder what the Mixx folks’ll think of it?

please allow us to link directly to our homepages from our profiles

With a PR 4 profile and dozens of quality submissions, there should be some way to be rewarded for the effort

If there is a concern about spamming - just limit the links to members passing a certain threshold

These submissions are helping others, but not the submitter
